Couldn't just read one, had to read the series! When you read you'll find that the stories can be read alone. But if you read the series you get the fun of seeing all the different ways of each character misinterpreting little things that in today's times we don't see. I truly enjoyed going back in time and following the lives of each character. Watching them fall in love that is so sweet and of course the main characters role in helping them to their happily ever after, priceless. Thank you! Good book. Liked the story of George and deborah. Some parts were a little confusing, but overall cute story
I have read 3 of the books from this series and 2 of the 3 have been so confusing...this being one of the two.
There really wasn't any romance to this one either. We have two characters who had been friends for years, realized that they actually loved each other. We never saw any romancing of each other. We only really get a bit of jealousy then revenge then poof! Love you, lets get married.
I wasn't able to become emotionally attached to these characters.
The story line was confusing, the characters were okay.
Written as multi pov.
Would I recommend this book? I won't say no, but I won't say yes either.
Would I read more from this author? Honestly, I don't know.

Great read love the descriptions and the feel of the times can. Be so vivid . Great book
I am still so in love with the Duke. He just is so insightful of women. This author is my opinion is right up there with my favorite author Georgette Heyer. I loved that it isn't graphic like a lot of books. There's more story and no over the top sex. I would recommend this series to anyone that likes Jane Austen and Georgette Heyer.
I loved all four and hope the fifth will be about Ursula and the Duke. Clean comedy and romance with the man being the matchmaker. For all ages - Barbie
